With (hopefully) patchdandshabby because I need a happy!
They'd been brutally awakened from their nap by a 35 pound weight jumping on the bed, specifically on Remus, clinging to him like a lifeline. Severus looked up to see a sheepish and frazzled looking Teddy standing in their doorway.
"I'm sorry, I tried to stop him but he seemed to know you were home and exactly where to find you. It's been a rather...long afternoon."
"What happened?" Severus asked, running fingers through Fae's hair as he burrowed closer to Remus.
Teddy shook his head. "I don't know exactly. It's like he regressed or something. The only thing he would say, or rather demand, was 'Daddy and Papa'. Other than that, he didn't speak, just stayed curled up on the sofa staring. I played my guitar for him and he fell asleep after awhile, but when he woke up, he just kept saying, "Home" over and over again. So I brought him home, and he made a beeline for the bedroom. I hope we didn't interrupt anything."
Teddy was definitely blushing now.
"Just a badly needed nap. Thank you, Teddy, for watching him and for the information. We'll take it from here. There's a beer in the fridge if you need one."
"I'll take two thanks," Teddy grinned, hair turning pink as he left the room, closing the door behind him.
Sev looked at Remus. "Thoughts, my ever so brilliant, love?" If Severus was worried, he knew Remus would be as well.
