Final Route, Chapter 16: Perspective
Saturday, May 6th
The walls of my perception and understanding have finally fallen.
Everything is clear now.
I am not Hokuto, nor am I Takeshi.
I am nothing but an observer.
2017, 2034. I see them both.
I see Coco, suffering from the effects of Tief Blau.
I don't feel anything, though.
My consciousness and my sight are no longer connected.
I am nothing but an observer.
This is the real Takeshi Kuranari.
Sora will now reveal the existence of IBF.
They will now go to HIMMEL, which will be sealed shut.
It will remain shut until opened from the far side.
The other person here is Coco Yagami's... no. It's You's father.
He will soon lose consciousness, after which they group will descend to IBF.
Coco and her father will be placed into the oxygen treatment pods.
From there, they will explore IBF, and learn various things about Tief Blau and Coco's connection to the facility.
But they will find neither means of escape nor a cure for Tief Blau in the facility.
Coco's father will then die of Tief Blau.
Morale will become even worse as the situation turns grim.
Then, something else happens.
Takeshi notices something. Something where there isn't anything.
For the briefest of moments, Takeshi notices that I am observing him.
Then, the moment passes, and I am again forgotten.
Then, Takeshi begins to bleed.
Everyone discovers that they have Tief Blau.
All of them except for Tsugumi.
She will then be scanned, and found to be a carrier of Cure.
Lieblich's machinery identified Cure because they already know about its existence.
This is Tsugumi's reason for coming to LeMU.
It's... getting harder to observe...
I can't see anything, but I can still hear voices.
Vision returns. But why watch? I have no identity.
And that's why I will watch. I can't do anything BUT watch.
I am nothing but an observer.
A perspective.
The idea will now be presented and accepted to use Tsugumi's antibodies to help everyone else fight Tief Blau.
Tsugumi will resist because of the risk of infecting Takeshi with Cure, but will relent.
While everyone waits for the antibodies to take effect, Mission Control will contact IBF.
A rescue submarine will be scheduled to arrive in one hour.
LeMU will then start to break apart.
Takeshi will return there, to save Tsugumi and Sora.
At great personal risk, Takeshi will save Tsugumi, and head back to HIMMEL.
You figures out the password and username to access LeMMIH, but...

Am I viewing from a person's perspective?
There we go! I can see again.
Takeshi writes Sora's memory to a terabyte disk, and then Takeshi, Tsugumi and Sora's memory return to IBF.
Because of his detour, Takeshi misses the rescue submarine.
The others are already at the surface, in serious condition.
Then, when Takeshi loses consciousness, I,
Hokuto,
regain consciousness.
That's right, I hurt my hand escaping the Whale Room.
I wonder where the others are?
The sound of metal tearing, oddly enough, doesn't bother me. It's like it's happening to someone else.
I should probably be worried.
An exit?
An exit... uhh...
Right! An exit to LeMU. I'm in LeMU.

I don't feel anything.

I'm just climbing, as if in my sleep.

I've lost myself again.
Once again, I am no more than a perspective.

It's a conversation. Yubiseiakikana is talking.

A point of light before all becomes darkness.
