Halloween.
So, this is basically the highlights reel, mostly because my sister hates that facepage thingy.
K. So. We went to Halloween Horror Nights with Cassidy.
Julian, the Usher. Don't mess around and stick your gum under the seat. He'll gitchya.
Actual Halloween:
Sun-Maid Raisin Girl and Gorton's Fisherman, for the win.
I made that! (My mom helped, heh.... But I made most of it!)
I made the skirt and bonnet from scratch, and the shirt was heavily modified. The only thing that really drives me nuts is the basket. Hers is a big tray-like thing, but for practicality a little basket with a handle was better. But she has all green grapes! That was an oversight on my account. Arg.
Petey, as usual, threw his costume together at the last minute and somehow, THE ENTIRE FLIPPING NIGHT!, everyone knew who he was and people had trouble getting my costume. Really?? The gorton's fisherman?? Meh.
My nephew thought mine was a good idea. That's all that really matters.

There was apparently a nautical theme, but I guess I didn't get the memo.
Gorton's Fisherman, Rowdy Navy Guy, Pirates.... Maybe I should've been that chick from the tuna can?
My favorite costumes from the night:
Coming in third, just because it's a classic, bedsheet ghosts.
In second place, the little creatures from 9.
And the winner, because it made me giggle for about an hour, those aliens from Sesame Street.
