Fight Club
It seems like by the weekends are always crappy and boring lately. Not to mention my sleeping habits go to hell. I am slowly accomplishing small things but so much shit to do and my motivation level is so low.
It hasn’t snowed here in a while which is a good thing but the downside is that it has been freezing cold and doesn’t get above 20 degrees during the day.
I haven’t heard from the guy about fixing my car yet. I’m hoping sometime next week since I’m getting serious cabin fever. Plus the one time I need to get to an important appointment this week Sis does not have any days off until Saturday because of fucking Valentine’s Day because her job is all about setting up and taking down merchandise related to the holidays.
Plus I really want to get to Walmart for some stuff. I need light bulbs (regular ones) and actually a whole new lamp because I broke the one I had near my bed. It has a main ceiling light and a reading light. I went to get the light bulb from the reading light (which I use most) to test on the lamp that broke and when I went to put it back I grabbed it too hard and it broke off including the switch. Also I really need at least one pair of new jeans. Actually I need a whole new wardrobe because I am seriously lacking in clothes.
Last night I watched Requiem For A Dream.
By the end I was like “WTF did I just watch”. It was a great movie if you enjoy being emotionally punched in the gut and watching as people’s lives spiral down into the black abyss of the 5th circle of hell. I have now seen 4 of the 5 movies that nominated for best actress and I really think Ellen Burstyn got seriously robbed.
Also last night I think I was having auditory hallucinations. I swear I heard a person knocking at my door at 3:30am. I opened the door and there was no one there. I expected it to be the dog more so than a person but nada. Kinda freaked me out for a bit.
Today the most interesting thing to happen was Nurse and her kids came over for dinner and her and Chef had some type of argument which I didn’t really get the gist of (another reminder to write about new HA). Everyone was silent through dinner and Nurse left with Dora in a hurry (Emo is staying overnight again). Chef went on bitching about Nurse and I’m just like “OK”. I didn’t bother to even ask about what went down. Sis made a comment to me after and I just told her it was not my concern and left at that. I have no gripes against anyone though I do know both Nurse and Chef have their own idiosyncrasies to bitch about as do we all.
I had Sis put ear drops in my right ear to clean it out because it just seemed like it was getting plugged up. I think it helped a little (that and cleaning my RHA).
Now I am going to watch Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
