5th Year Slytherins/Gryffindors

Having given instructions on the day's assignment (vanishing earthworms), McGonagall set about monitoring the progress of the room. Making sure each of the students had plenty of the wriggling creatures to work with, it was only a matter of time before she had to correct the pronunciation of an unfortunately scatter-brained student.

"Vermis Evanesco," she repeated, demonstrating once more with two swishes of her wand before flicking it at the worm.

-----

Homework given for the class: Students must write two feet of parchment on the difficulties of vanishing live specimens and read the next chapter in their texts. Students who want extra practice are permitted to take earthworms with them (they are prepared in small boxes of dirt with five worms each).

ooc: If you think I'm cool enough to write out two separate posts for these two classes....you better think again.

Me = Uncool.

You guys? See the ooc note on the prior post.
