A good day
Started with getting up at a reasonable hour (7:45ish), and going out for a short trail ride with palegreyminion. Unfortunately the trail ride was a little short, but went very well and was fun.
Then we went to the GweepCo Purgatory picnic, which was a lot of fun. Seeing everyone again and learning about the changes in everybody's lives was good. A couple unexpected drop-ins were very interesting, too. The only sad part was that due to prior plans, we were not able to go out to Japanese with everyone after the picnic :(
But our prior plans were to go over to a friend's house for dinner and to celebrate Rosh Hashannah with them. It's interesting to see different things, and they've invited us over for this for a few years, so it's become somewhat of a tradition, too. She's a very good cook, too, which makes it all the more enjoyable.
And they showed us their new iMac w/ OSX, which Trish really liked.
So, all in all, a good day.
