I'm another on the side of not moving over to Sims 3. I really haven't seen anything that is a great big draw toward it. I'm having a great time playing Sims 2 still and reading all the other stories that people are writing. I understand needing a break from it though. It starts to not become fun. But I have to beg you to forge on. After all, what would life be without the non-monologue of Cecil?
As for Twilight, I'm not all that surprised that Hardwicke is not going to be involved in the sequels. Much as I'd like to believe that the gender prejudices aren't as prevalent any more, I didn't think Hollywood would give that much credit to the women involved. I enjoyed the books - they were a really easy read - and the movie, but I though it could have been better. New Moon was more of a favorite for me though, so I'm glad they've decided to continue. I'm with you, I would love to see some real wolves/really big dogs in the special effects transitions. I just hope they don't screw it up.
