Auld lang syne, everybody!
Never even posted about my Christmas loot! but I got a copy of *Thor*, a book about Popes, and a new Roomba, so I am a very happy geek.
Possibly not the biggest whoopie! kind of New Year's Eve by some standards, but when I tried to decide what I wanted most in the New Year, I thought "a clean kitchen floor." So I scrubbed and scrubbed and tomorrow I will come downstairs to a (mostly) beautifully clean house.
Just in time finally to get started on something important that cannot be put off any longer:

I don't think Cecil likes the idea very much. First he went back to bed, then made sure he had a good breakfast, then the Royal Advisor patted him on the back and told him to charm Princess Eliane, and --
Cecil: ROUTEFAIL.
I feel a bit sorry for him, don't you? There are supposedly two approaches to this one. I'm going to try both, so I can take lots of pictures and decide which one I like best. But yes, the last bits of SC Ren are being played now. Only this quest and a few more quests to kill time and then it will be done except for the writeup.
But tomorrow I shall finally get back to Other Project. I will leave the serious business of prepping for the quarter until Monday.
