Ok. My Japanese penpal is a composer/musician, right? So, for about four years now he's been sending me batches of his CDs to distribute around the area. I am the representative for the "Washington DC Office" of the Sound Select company. In reality, I am the Washington DC Office. So, I have several hundred copies of his CDs lying around. I am not a very good distributor, I'm afraid. I have been asked to give them to my friends, people I know, etc. Does anyone want some CDs of Japanese electric/techno/classical (the genre really defies description) music? Please let me know; you can have as many as you want/can carry. I even recorded the voiceover for one of them; you can hear my high-pitched 11-year-old voice saying "please do not eat or drink in the auditorium..." superimposed over ebullient keyboard and mixers. What's not to love?
If no one wants them my next course of action is to discreetly slip them into people's lockers during my free period.
