Prostitution at World Cup

I don't quite know how I feel about legalised prostitution, but it appears that Germany are going to be importing a whole bunch of (possibly unwilling) prostitutes for the World Cup - that's today. I don't know what they plan on doing with them once the WC is over, but anyway

I have a feeling that at best this is grossly over-exaggerated. These type of reports usually are.
Not to mention the fact that after Thailand Germany is perhaps second in the world for available sex. I doubt they need to immport them any further away than Hamburg.
Frankly I am more concerned over the documented reports of UN people trading food for sex, with minors in underdeveoped countries.

By the way, I hope you are feeling better, and your hearing has cleared up.
I have not been my normal replying self, due to a rather irritating physical problem that makes it uncomfortable sitting at the comp....but I am praying for you :D

Second in the world after Thailand? I very much doubt it! For a start the Netherlands are more of a sex-tourism draw than Germany, and then there are plenty of other developing-world countries that provide too

Have you got any links to the UN thing - we only get CNN here and I haven't seen anything about it (going away for two weeks probably didn't help either)
