Here is a message from kadh, which I'm leaving unlocked so you can redirect people towards it.
"Dear everybody,
By the time you get this, Christmas will have come and gone. I hope you had the Happiest of holidays. It will be an interesting Christmas here. I imagine we don't get to see our family, but we know they'll be with us in spirit.
I want to thank you so much to all of you who have written and sent cards. You don't know how much they mean on those days when the world is not at its brightest. It warms my heart to see them - I have them taped to my wal - it's great wallpaper.
I appreciate all your thoughts and prayers during this time. It hasn't been easy, but important things never are.
I am doing well right now - something to celebrate. I have had three great days. I haven't felt like this in so long. I am enjoying it while it lasts.
This year I don't really have a Christmas wish list. And for once I don't really have any wants. I mean sure I need a job, a place to live, but right now some very wonderful people are taking care of me and making me better so I can have those things soon. I can't be with my family - so no reason to waste a wish on that. I'll get beter with time - so I won't wish for that. Now I might just wish for a Snickers bar - lol - but alas can't have those here.
So if I could have one wish - one gift this season I would wish joy, hope, peace and love to all of you. Hold tight to the ones you love. Find joy in your life. Know I am thinking of you with a smile on my face (Good thing this letter isn't written in ink, because I am about to cry all over it, but they are happy tears).
