Private to Mr. Severus Snape

Is there a valid reason for you skipping all of your classes for the past three weeks? Your teachers have not been pleased and I dread to think of your Transfiguration make-up work.

I'm going to have to get in contact with your tutor about this and have you and him work on making up all the work you missed.

Two and a half weeks. And yes.
Don't need a tutor.

What is your reason for missing two and a half weeks worth of classes?

And you will be getting a tutor whether you think you need one or not. That is final.

Was working.

Tutoring is pointless. He won't learn. Ruined potion last time on purpose and threatented to turn me into a cockroach. He's got a negative attitude towards work and he hates me.

Working on what?

Tutoring is not pointless. I suggest the two of you work out your difficulties as he will not be going away any time soon. You'll have to be working on Transfiguration at any rate and not potions for now until you're caught up.

Important things.

He's the one with difficulties. He might be cerebrally challenged. He acts like he is.

What kind of important things? Be specific, Mr. Snape.

Are you aware that he could be saying the same things about you?

I never threatened to turn him into a cockroach.

Or any other kind of sort of exoskeleton.

No one is going to turn anyone into anything. I suggest, however, that you start learning from him instead of making trouble.

I'm not making trouble. He was the one who ruined my cauldron.

And why did he ruin your cauldron? Do try to answer that without any insults.

He objected to me telling him he should concentrate more on potions since it was his weaker subject. He called me stupid and said potions was pointless and ruined my cauldron. It's not my fault.

You will need to also concentrate on Transfiguration with him. Will I need to ask him for his side of the story as well?

The fact remains is that you've missed quite a bit of schooling and you will need to make it up. He will be focusing on your learning until you are completely caught up in your work.

I'll be speaking to Professor McGonagall about this as well.

We were doing Potions at the time. Will catch up. Wouldn't have missed it if I couldn't have caught up.

I very much hope so, Mr. Snape. I'm expecting much better grades for you for this term.

My grades are fine.

Not in Transfiguration. I'm afraid to say, Mr. Snape, that your grades are abysmal there.
