Private and Warded Thoughts
I received word from the Ministry this morning and spent most of my time wondering how best to put this to Mr. Macnair. There was never an easy way to tell a child something of this nature and yet, Mr. Macnair was rarely emotional. Rather, he chose to almost always lead with his fists and I could not afford such an uprising. Neither could the boy at this point.
I had to put the investigation of the dead Hippogryff to the side for now and focus on this new disheartening turn of events. It is a terrible thing to happen and yet...
