My travels have been proving fruitful, thankfully; I've been able to find a good deal of information that might aid in Lord Voldemort's downfall. I'm glad of that much, since it seems Voldemort hasn't been quiet since I left....from what I understand, he's started to kill off wizards from the Ministry personally. All I can hope is that his downfall can be brought about sooner rather than later.
[He holds up his left hand, revealing that it's now blackened and shriveled, though his fingers still seem to move as normal. Dumbledore smiles wryly, but doesn't seem to consider it any terrible thing.]
Unfortunately, in my travels, I foolishly failed to take every precaution, even knowing that Voldemort is so very fond of traps. Luckily, with some help from one of the professors, I managed only to maintain this little memento of it.
