CHOOSE MY FATE! (seriously)
Okay folks, we've come to a new fork in the road.
It was reported a couple months back that my Cynthia is preggers. We instantly planned to go back to Texas to be with friends, family, and the possibility of her re-claiming glory at Grapevine.
As I said above, we've reached a fork in the road in the way that it's no longer a sure bet. We've thought about many reasons TO go back, and plenty NOT TO go back.
I need your help, dear readers of this personal account of my life. I would like to list the positives and negatives of each scenario, and have you weigh them as your own, and fill my nut sack full of advice.
Positives and negatives for going home:
+ I've come to realize that the suburbs of Dallas are not the worst ever festering bunghole of the world that I thought it once was. Concord is.
- Euless is still a festering bunghole.
+ Friends and family. I miss them dearly, and can't wait to see them again.
- I've made some really cool friends here, some more so that are interested in the craft.
+ More likely a chance of me finding a pithy job in my field (Call Center Peon).
- Don't know that I really want to jump into that shit again. Sombody, take a script...please!
+ Having a limitless supply of babysitters at our disposal.
- Parental pop in's.
+ Back in an environment that I know, it took my fucking 8 years to get HEB down...now I gotta figure Charlotte out? Fuck that.
- Having a valid excuse for being late places..."I fuckin' got lost, assbag! LAY OFF!"
Positives and negatives for staying:
- Motherfucking southern culture. Nascar, rednecks, thuggier blacks, slow people...just a bunch of bullshit. And don't dig into me about the black thing, I said rednecks too.
+ Cynthia gets to do her dream, which is open a district and eventually become a 'silent partner'.
- Fucking cramped city, man. There's seemingly 10 million people in Concord and they built all the decent resturaunts around the mall, making eating in less than 3+ hours on a weekend an impossibility.
+ More time to make SURVIVAL, and make it right.
- Fucking disgusting bleached water here, and lack of water pressure. It's absurd, and I almost hate to shower because of it.
+ Either way, I'll most likely be a stay at home pop.
- Most of the people here annoy the ever lovin' piss outta me..but that's about anywhere, I think.
+ More possibilities for film junk out here? Yes, it's a question, and I expect and answer.
