It will be quite strange to once again be away from home. Nevertheless... I cannot say that I do not enjoy this far more than any time I have spent in Erealia. Though I cannot tell them, I much prefer less elaborate celebrations, particularly for one's birthday. I am grateful... and yet, it is not necessary for such a lavish ceremony.

I am curious -- and I apologize it this is too personal an inquiry -- how do you prefer to celebrate your birthday? Is a party more favorable, or do you prefer a quiet celebration with a select group of acquaintances?
