Commander Edgeworth, I would like to bring something rather dire to your attention. I'm afraid I could not find time over the past several weeks to inform you of this around the time of the incident, so I apologize for not being more prompt in this matter.
I was unfortunate to have come across Major Hijikata and Lt. Commander Katsura quarreling in the Lt. Commander's quarters. It seems the argument and ensuing fight was sparked by the Major taunting the Lt. Commander, which then prompted the Lt. Commander to throw a chair in his direction. I am unsure of the remaining details, but as that argument coalesced into a physical brawl, some furniture had been damaged, and both officers sustained some light wounds.
Perhaps it was not my place to step in, but fighting in such close quarters was a dangerous and foolhardy decision, one that I do not believe was backed by maturity. I did what was in my power to stop them, and while I cannot say for certain whether or not they are regretful of their actions, they seem to have discontinued their arguments for the time being.
Once again, I deeply apologize for not bringing this to you sooner. But if I may... if you do decide to take action, Commander, would it be entirely possible for you to reprimand them less harshly than you intend to? They certainly did not behave like adults, nor officers of a military vessel for that matter, but I do not believe they are entirely inept.
I am merely glad they did not take each other's heads off.
If I recall any other details, I will be sure to relay them to you immediately.
not a tattletale okay,
oh you're in trouble now,
who gets yelled at by a shota,
gosh you failures
