Blizzard

[Why is there a blizzard all of a sudden. Aisling shields her eyes and attempts to walk against it.]

[In the distance, she may be able to make out the figure of a child about her size waving at her. The snowstorm doesn't let up, though.]

[She struggles to make her way over to him, but she gets there eventually.]

What are you doing?

Making a blizzard, of course!

So? On a scale of one to ten, how cool did you think that was? Eleven? It could use a lot more hail, right?

Quake

[strike_you_out]

[Slugger is skating up the street on his newly returned rollerblades -- as much as he may suffer while wearing them, he can't bear to part with them for very long -- when a strong rumble sweeps through the ground. He turns to see what it is and spots a huge rift coming his way, separating the street down its center.

Startled, he swiftly veers left to avoid tumbling into the forming crevice.]

[Slugger barely avoids falling through into the cracks into the depths of the earth. Who knows where he'd end up? Behind him, though, a boy comes running up, panting and exhausted but looking oddly elated.]

[Once at a presumably safe distance, he skids to a swift halt and looks back toward the ruined street. He doesn't want to be caught in whatever it might be, but he's also curious to find out what's happening.

This is when Slugger notices the approaching boy. His attention, however, is still focused on the big crack in the street. He nods in its direction.]

Look.

I know! Isn't it awesome? Don't worry; you weren't ever gonna fall in cause I could've just closed it again.

[ Passing by the park, on her way to work, Komachi stops outside its gates, staring at the beautiful tree that has suddenly appeared there. She was just there only at Christmas, and there wasn't any sort of large blossoming tree nearby during that...incident. Her face creases in irritation, perhaps also due to her running late to her job. ]

Hey, that damn plant...what a joke, huh. This town's making fun of me again. Ahh, I'm too tired for this crap!

[ and oh god why is she firing beams of light at the tree MOVE QUICK O LAWD ]

He's kind of a plant.

Nothing whatsoever happens to prevent the beams of light from incinerating the sage.
