Today

I got a good amount done today, somewhere around 10 manuscript pages. I finally got to write something from a villian's point of view, which was a lot more fun then I thought it would. He's such a supreme ass (and sadly, I think funnier then I thought) I'm not sure what to make with him. He has a certain sardonic wit about him that I find funny.

Word count is at 34679, but I have some handwritten parts that haven't made their way in yet.

On Monday night I went to my writing workshop and got some good feedback (most positive) on 15 pages from chapter 2. There were some issues regarding making it work for the reader becuase I throw a lot at people, and also that of P.O.V. We are working on P.O.V. next week so I think that will be helpful. As for piecing it together, I think that the reader gets a lot of benefit from chapter 1 of the book, although it's a little boring. I'm not sure if the problem is because it is chapter 2 and the reader should know a certain amount of information, or if it's because the story needs some more flesh on it's bones.

I'm pretty close to the point where I'm ready to send it out, hell... I think my milestone I finally wanted to get to is this scene I'm in right now.

I'm going to try and reach this week and get through it, and write the chapter after this one and then edit a bit and get some feed back soon. I think it's good, but it's so hard to say. When you put as much time as I have into this, it all starts getting exceptionally blurry.

Rachel does tell me that my vocabulary has increased.
