The Lunch Caper [John + Bobby]
After collecting his lunch (chicken on rye with mayo and salad, and the lettuce had clearly seen better days), John paid his money, took a napkin and stood awkwardly with the tray in his arms, scouting around the pretty-damn-full hall of one of the campus buildings.
He could see only one seat available that wouldn't require to shove his way through tables too-crowded-together, and so set off jauntily to pull out a chair, and then stopped, remembering to ask 'Is this seat taken?'
That was quickly followed by a 'Oh. Didn't see you there' because the person in the seat next to the one he'd semi-claimed was Bobby.
