The Strange Name
I was looking at some email when one of the receipients caught my eye - Strange Jennifer. I can imagine the pain of growing up with a name like that if she were in Singapore. Can you imagine visiting the clinic to have the nurse yell out your name to the floor "Strange Sunnie, calling for Strange Sunnie". Then again, it would probably be Sunnie Strange.
Did a google just to check the commonality of the name (yes, im kinda bored at work :P). Top result was a Wiki link to an entry for that name. Turns out the subject of that entry recently died due to water intoxication when she participated in this radio game show "Hold Your Wee for a Nintendo Wii". They had to drinks lots of water and compete to hold their bladder for the longest time. Winner gets to pee last and takes the Wii.
And I thought our Subaru challenge was bizarre enough. At least the prize was a car. But the Wii???

Anyways, I didnt really think too much water would be harmful, but apparently it is! I wonder if it was the actual drinking or holding the pee in that caused her death.
Lesson of the day: never let anyone or anything stop you in the way of bladder liberation. It's no longer about the urgeny, it's literally a matter of life and death!
