The Dell Customer Advocate

Mar 06, 2007 23:24

Something really incredible happened.

I wrote this entry last week about my Dell malfunctioning and this morning, i actually got this response, on my LJ no less, from Larry, purportedly a Dell Customer Advocate from the Texas HQ.

I dont suppose i have any reason to doubt who Larry says he is; i guess im just astounded somebody from Dell would chance upon it and actually reply with some sound advice. What are the chances of that happening?? So Larry, if you're ever reading this, care to enlighten me on how this works? LOL. The only place i tagged this as "Dell" was on Flickr, but there's no direct link from my Flickr to LJ.

Yea when sunnie gets investigative, it means he's too free.

Maybe having Michael Dell back holding the reins is a good move after all. :P

Well, Hewlett-Packard, No.1 PC maker in 2006 (is that official?), you have got competition again. Because in my books, Dell's image just shot back up again (Psst, the Powers-That-Be at Dell, do i get a free laptop with the best possible specifications and life-time warranty for saying this?).

Oh, and i was wondering, if i start complaining about my other gadgets malfunctioning on my LJ, would i get responses as well? There's that absolutely worthless Sony digital camera, the ocassionally hanging software of my Nokia and Sony Ericssons, and non-intuitive interface of the Creative mp3 playter etc. Heh.
