Yes that's right. Someone was - on Friday. A department head no less.
A colleague excitedly asked me during lunch "Did you know that A was fired????"
"HUH?? Why??"
"Dont know! But the HR lady was helping him to pack his desk earlier."
We all know how boring work can be. When something as sensational as this happens, it spreads faster than the Indonesian fires that's hazing up our skyline and making it unbearable for my eyes.
Digress.
Half-way into lunch, another colleague got a SMS from an ex-colleague, who heard the news, and wanted to verify.
Now that's networking.
This guy who went for a holiday will be shocked when he comes back to work today and learns that his boss is gone LOL.
So many things going on. Someone also tried to rope me into a coup to dethrone Thaksin I mean Hairy Nose, but i gave some filmsy excuse and managed to escape.
New week. New drama? Who knows.

Wanted to catch a movie at the spanking new Vivocity cinema on Saturday but apparently a lot of other people thought the same. There was hardly any seats left. So went to town instead to catch You, Me and Dupree. I liked it. Great laughs.
