The Beating
Did anyone read that hilarious story in the papers about this couple who was beaten to death in a "cleansing ritual" in KL? Apparently their nephew convinced them he had the powers to purge them of problems - all they had to do was to go through this ritual where the nephew and family will use helmets and broomsticks to literally whack the problems out of them. Anyone who propositions something like this is a wack for sure - but people who actually *believe* and go along with it?!
I would imagine the nephew's pep talk: "Lie down, and on the count of 3, i will use these holy cleansing tools of helmets and broomsticks to whack you. You will probably feel a little pain, but remember, it's all for the better. You will be a better man when you wake up."
So after beating the life out of those 2, the nephew sit downs, puffs a cigarette and swigs beer from a mug (ok my own insertion), and assures the other family members that they will wake up soon. Only they didnt of course. How dumb is that????
