...Whoa! ::A bit surprised, but relieved to see it's simply Rose::

Hey, there. Remember to mind your surroundings, alright? ::Giving her a smile to show he's not mad::

Sorry! I'm hurrying.

What's the rush?

I need to look out the window and I don't think the ones in here are big enough.

Not big enough? ::Wondering what the size of the window has to do with it::

Sorry to keep you, Rose, but what are you trying to see?

Outside, of course.

Any old window will do, if that's what you expect to see through it.

Oh, I get it. You're heading back to your room.

::Grins, amused, as the last time he saw Rose in her room, she didn't seem interested in the window much at all::

Yes, I am. I need to see if I can figure out where we are. We might pass a sign, or a station.

I've never noticed the train pass by any signs.

But maybe I'm just not as sharp as I used to be. It's definitely possible. ::Not quite ready to admit that the idea never occurred to him::

I don't think trains pass the same sort of signs that cars do. Do they?

Reply

prodigal_hands April 26 2009, 05:00:17 UTC
I imagine they wouldn't. Trains and cars operate a little differently. They don't follow all the same rules.

blurryworld April 26 2009, 05:00:48 UTC
No, they don't. Especially not proper trains like this.

You know a lot about trains, Rose?
