So, Halloween's in about a week, right?

[Shinjiro sounds a bit awkward, or hesitant... He's not much in a talking mood, but there's business to take care of so he pushes on for now.]Might as well do something at the Northern Lights. That's a bar and restaurant in Discedo, in case anyone doesn't know about it. Over on Bonito drive ( Read more... )

3 years in business and counting, halloween party, northern lights, now hiring, grumpy ol barkeep, raiding spero for spirits, soft spot for the animals

Would it really be possible to move them all the way over to Dissimulo?

That's... I ain't sure. They're smaller than regular cows, but I still don't see 'em fitting on those subway cars.

[Not doing great at suppressing a worried tone here.]

And to actually walk there would take quite a bit, right? I remember when I first went there, but the circumstances for the journey aren't ideal either. I'm not sure if it would really be okay for those cows..

That'd take days, and I heard about those cougars from before. It's probably a no-go if I can't find some other way.

As long as you have people with you to protect the cows from the cougars, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. We managed to fend them off last time as well.

The problem is mostly the length of the journey and whether the cows would be able to manage that much or not.

I can probably deal with that.

[But in a way, it's a waste to leave dead cougars lying around too. Hmm...]

They were wild cows before. So, I don't think walking is gonna be a problem--what's the terrain like?

Pretty rough, from what I remember. It wasn't unbearable, though. I think there was even some sort of road.

[ She thinks for a moment. ]

... Either way, we made it across back then, so it's possible for humans to cross the distance, either way.

Maybe I'll risk it. I was going to head up that way pretty soon, in the first place.

Thanks for the info.

No problem. Just saying something as simple as this doesn't really require effort either way.

I hope you'll make it just fine with them.

Yeah, that's true...

[He's just worried about the cows. Which he's not going to elaborate on.]

Thanks. I'm sure it won't be a big deal.
