To be honest, Kutner was surprised when Hadley actually agreed to go out with him. Not that he could really officially call this a date. This probably would wind up working out better as two coworkers just hanging out together after work, and even then -- he could work with that. He was just glad that things were starting to come together a bit more and they were starting to feel more like a team, rather than three people House just happened to throw together. So this wasn't a date. Yet.
He was waiting outside the hospital, rocking back and forth on his heels slightly. It was finally starting to get to be more of that chilly fall weather, especially after the roller coaster they'd been having over the past couple weeks. Dipping into the fifties, but it wasn't so far as it would be too cold to walk. Slipping his hands into his pockets, he took a long deep breath, and exhaled. Worst that could happen, he could make himself look like more of a geek than he already had.
And that may or may not be a bad thing.
