For a good while she was angry at him, and that included raging at Kutner shortly after she had found him, calling him all sorts of idiot for not talking to anybody, if that's how he felt.

Be that as it may, there is a familiar, silver car pulling up to the curb a good fifteen minutes before it's supposed to, along with an equally familiar face stepping out of it.

He looked up when he heard the car pulled up and managed to get a small smile as he pushed to his feet.

"Hey, Remy."

There's a mirroring smile on the woman's face as she steps up to Kutner, looking up at him for the briefest of moments before hugging him in greeting.

"Hey."

Very talkative, these two.

He hugged her back, staying close for the moment before pulling back to look at her.

"You look good."

"So do you," she murmurs softly, giving him a critical once over as he steps away from her.

Obviously, getting him here was a good thing.

"Got all your things?"

He nodded. "Yup. I'm ready when you are."

"Then let's go," she says, snagging his bag from the curb and loading it into her trunk.

Once they're both in the car, she pauses before starting it, looking over at Kutner once again.

"Right, so, first off, you have two choices. You're staying with someone for a while, and it's either going to be me, or Taub. Your choice."

He considered it for all of two seconds. He hadn't gotten reamed by Taub for his choices yet, so it was pretty much a no-brainer.

"Is it okay if it's you?"

"Wouldn't have offered if it wasn't," comes the dry response as she turns the car over. "I'll get the hide-a-bed set up for you when we get to my place. In the meantime, anything you need from yours? We can swing by there on the way."

He shook his head. "My landlord moved it all into storage. I'll have to drop by and get the key later, but I'm good for right now."

"Right then, to Oz," she quips, pulling them out of the building's driveway and pointing them in the direction of her apartment.

Really, she has yet to decide if she'll enjoy having company around her apartment or not. It may just help it feel less...empty.

He has yet to decide whether or not this will be good for him. But at least he's not going home to an empty apartment and will have someone there if he feels himself start to slip again.

"So. What'd I miss?"

That...is a slightly loaded question, one that has Thirteen taking a breath before answering.

"Well," she starts. "Chase and Cameron got married, House professed his love to Cuddy...and now he's in Mayfield, because he had a mental break while overdosing on Vicodin."

"Wow." He took a breath as he leaned back in the seat a little more. "That's a lot."

"It is," she agrees, navigating the car around a corner, focusing on the road with a tight jaw.

"Apparently, House had been hallucinating vividly and didn't tell anyone. so for now, the diagnostics department is shut down, and Cuddy has us in the clinic, or on ER duty with Cameron."

He nodded slowly. "Well, that makes sense. There wouldn't be a diagnostic department without House."
