At times when I listen to all that crazy J-pop, I do have to wonder--why is it I do, indeed,
listen to it, anyway? Would I actually listen to the wacked out ravings of my
beloved MiniMoni, were they an all-English group? The truth is, I guess--could anybody
over here really pull that off with out being overly stupid? But--wait--MiniMoni does
actually max out on cheesiness. They have no real content beyond catchy beats, cute
voices, and crazy antics. Could it be that I--we--accept such abnormal behavior because
they are a group of cute Japanese girls.
Did you ever stop to think about the fact that MiniMoni are targeted at Japanese
elementary school students? So, why the hell do we love them so much? I can
