*Sigh*
So summer's finally here. Most people have beaten me to posting the first post of summer. I've just been....not in the mood to post for a while. It's not that I haven't had anything to talk about...just didn't feel like actually typing all of it out.
So....uhh...life's been going okay. I'm feeling a little out of it right now, but I have a feeling that that has to do a lot with the fact that I'm slightly tired, and that the first day of summer was slightly disappointing. Didn't really do much. Woke up at 1. Did random crap on the internet till 6ish. Went to JSA Banquet at 7. 'Twas okay I guess. Ended up being pretty much just sophomores. Tim came but had to leave around 8. Aaron forgot to remind Bing. Nick was the only non-soph there, but well, that's not really saying much. From what I hear, the gang minus Paul and me went skinnydippyin. I swear there's something about Friday nights that messes with our mind. So JSA Banquet was fun, if not amazing.
Paul's an ass. He managed to get himself grounded on the first day of summer. But I guess it's not really his fault. His parents are just conservative douchebags. Gaahhhh! Most likely, they grounded him for being gay and having a boyfriend. God what's your freakin' problem ?! Anyways, with Paul goes our taxi, which takes even more fun out of summer. Not that that Paul's only contribution. But the Pwn Boat is important too. It will be missed...at least till it resumes service. At least Samy isn't grounded any more. Yay
Yesterday was fun I s'pose. Math final wasn't too bad, and I ended up with an 87% on it. I'll take it. it kept me at an A. Following that was Graduation, where I was volunteering for the NHS watersale. It was actually a lot of fun, because I knew most of the people there, and well it was just fun. We ended up selling out of EVERYTHING...and made about $1650. Not too shabby.... Hung out with the Azns later yesterday. 'Twas fun.
I've been meaning to call around for a job for ages, but I've been too lazy. I really should do it tomorrow. In fact, I'm going to. I really want a job. That reminds me: I need to start fundraising for JSA too. O well. I thought I had summer planned out, but I had forgotten about the me being "lazy as hell" part. Goals for the summer: learning Macromedia Studio and webdesign, getting a job, reading a bunch of books on my list, JSA Symposium at UC Davis, learning macroeconomics via auditing Saddleback Class and Barnes and Noble, and getting a hell of a lot more music. Oh and AP summer homework I guess. But that's for later.
So my birthday's coming up in 10 days. Well it's past midnight so I guess 9 now. I'm not really very excited. I look back to the days when I used to anticipate my birthday for months in advance. And now it's ten days away and I have no idea what I'm doing to celebrate my birthday. I've strongly been considering having a massive party with about 40 people at Kite Hill Community Center, because they have a big pool, jacuzzi, basketball courts, volleyball courts, eating area, playground, and tennis courts, and because I know a ton of people who live at Kite Hill. To all the people reading this who live in Kite Hill, do you think that can work? Let me know.
I need a new pair of headphones because mine crapped out on me, but I can't get a good pair of my preferred style of headphones (in-ear) for under $60 which is way over what I want to pay for headphones.
Well I think I'm done for now. I'm gonna sleep soon, so I can get up and watch a football (that's right....football.....NOT soccer....soccer is for football newbs AKA americans) game today. Czech Republic vs. Ghana. Then, Italy vs. USA. I really want to see the US get torn apart by Italy. Sorry, I'm not unpatriotic...I'm just a realist.
