So I just got one of those Salter machine-recorded messages. Supposedly, our bell schedule has changed. As of this year, school will start a whopping 10 minutes earlier. That means that first period will start at 8 AM, instead of 8:10 AM. That messes everything up. I had a perfect schedule of leaving right around 7:55, which meant I would get to

Your feeling would be most correct. The email said that school still ends at 2:40, so I wonder why the change...
