Windows Live Writer Test

So I've been reading about the newly released Windows Live Writer on every major tech blog that I usually read. It's a desktop based blog editor, a program that allows you to type your blog posts within a software environment, thus granting you a greater control over the look of your text, as well as eliminating the need for manual HTML. I realize that most of you already knew this; however, this is a test post to check out how well it converges with my blog. The picture is also part of the test.

On a completely separate note, do you think tags are of any value on LJ? I love the utility of tags when it comes to large collections such as photos or videos, but I have yet to realize any benefit of tagging all my LJ posts comprehensively. What's your opinion on this? Do you care enough to tag each of your posts?
