Ponderings...
Random thoughts that came to mind while reading other LJs...
- I envy Samy's ability to transfer thought to paper. No effort required. Ugh! She can just effortlessly write what she's thinking! Why does my stupid mind have to edit everything that goes through it to my fingers ?!?!?!?
- Dreams. Why do I have to be the exception? People always talk about the dreams that they had last night. Or the night before. Or that morning. Me? Never. I don't have dreams. Honestly. People say that I forget about them. I guess it's possible but I dunno. I explain my peculiarity with the fact that I usually don't fall asleep until I'm pretty tired, and thus I fall asleep immediately. But either way, why do I have to be the exception ?!?
- Whenever I write, why do I have to make everything long? And perfect? English essay...Euro thesis...LJ Post...you name it, I have it longer than you thought possible. Sometimes, I appreciate this "quality" of mine. Most of the other time, though, I detest it. At least give me a reason why! As for the perfect part, I think my brain needs to re-evalaute the meaning of the word "edit." It just has to re-read and edit literally everything. Even the last LJ post that I posted (7 lines long) was edited three times! Again, why ?!? Give me a reason...
These are just some of the dilemnas of my life... Feel free to attempt to sovle a few. The help would be greatly appreciated.
