hi I'm totally not doing this just to avoid working on my project that is due tomorrow

Where and when did you start rping?
I was probably 10 or 11 (so 2000-ish? idk), and it was on the Neopets roleplay forums. |D;

Do you prefer first-person comment spam or prose logging?
Since I got into lj rp, I've definitely been spoiled into preferring first person stuff, sob.

What was the first character you ever played?
I started with the OC, Aiko (her last name, Kazayama, appeared later. Sound familiar?). My first fandom character was (very briefly) Cloud.

Who's your favorite character to play now and why?
It shifted very recently to a very new muse, sob, which would be Ling!Greed. Specifically Greed, as I'm having trouble actually figuring out Ling's voice. I love playing Greed... for a few reasons, I suppose. I feel I can really get into his head, yet at the same time I feel like I have a lot of room for developing him and figuring him out.

What's the longest you've ever consistently played one character?
I think it would have to be Wolfwood, though there's a couple OCs that might be close.

What's your biggest rp pet peeve?
Passive aggressiveness and hypocrisy. Passive aggressiveness tends to go hand in hand with hypocrisy, but not always the other way around. Both can drive me up the wall.

A lighter one would be when people use frustrating/hard to read/icky-looking/iconless or icon shrinking layouts without turning custom comment pages off. it just. bugs me alkdnfmkls;dfl

Do you read rp secrets and the rp anon meme?
I read rps when people link it to me or mention a secret that involves Discedo or something. I usually watch the rp anon meme for Discedo but refrain from responding very much.

If you've played in public before, do you prefer community based or journal based games?
They both have their ups and downs. I'm more accustomed to journal-based, but I've managed to get some experience playing in a comm-based game. It's really nice being able to find all the posts for any one character, even older dropped ones, using tags. You also only have to friend two or three comms instead of >9000 journals or keeping up with friend adds, and you can easily play in multiple games using only one journal. But then you can't put whatever silly tags you want on your posts and there's a less personalized feel to your posts like there is when you have them all in your own journal, and you have to go to the comm to post- basically, communities are more organizationally convenient while journal-based are more personalized. It's just preference.

Would you rather play with someone who's very very ic but a mediocre writer or someone who isn't always ic (but not terrible) and a great writer?
This is an interesting question. I've played with people who are fantastic writers, but aren't necessarily completely IC. It can be really fun, and it's easy to not care so much about mild OOC-ness when someone is a great writer, because whatever personality the character does end up having, it's still fun to interact with. At the same time, I'd also enjoy playing with a mediocre writer who is very very IC. so idk, I'd play with both.

Do you have a "rp partner"?
Not exactly? I mostly play in games these days, so I don't have a specific partner. I have had them in the past, though.

Do you ever stalk any casts, games, or players? who?
/stalks Discedo forever

Now that I've dropped Discedo, I've started stalking more in general. So I've started stalking some at CnC as well, and there's more to come, I'm sure.

In your opinion, which part of an app is the most difficult/annoying?
Not all apps have them, but I hate when you have to write out the history section yourself. It seems pretty pointless to me.

Besides that, the samples. Sometimes it's just one or the other (first or third), but hnghhhh I just suck at pulling that stuff out of my ass.

Are you one of those people who has to customize their character's journal layout and userinfo?
Sometimes, l-lol. I only started doing it in recent times, but it proved to be so appealing that it's become a habit for any character I play in a game. I always check the comment pages though to see if they'd be annoying; as such I usually turn custom comment pages off. I don't usually put anything in the profile, though.

What was your first game?
On LJ, Discedo.

Are there any canons you avoid tagging characters from?
I try not to avoid tagging based on a character's canon. The appearance of Bayonetta players around the rp nexus has me twitching a little, but my personal issues with a canon doesn't affect how I'd interact with a roleplayed character from it. I'd still tag them.

Most memorable scene in any thread?
There's a lot, and none come to mind stronger than the others, sob

Do you rp sex?
Not for a long time now. I doubt I'd be able to. I'm into reading sexy things as much as the next person, but my brain locks up and I get a weird feeling when writing them myself. Heavy petting is usually okay, though. Sometimes I'm tempted to join a game like Amat just to see what it would be like, but idk if they'd be okay with me handwaving most of the actual sex sob.

Do you play more males or females?
Males.

What won't you rp?
There's what I said about sex, but that's more a semi-inability than a choice. Uhhh... idk. The game.

Dressing rooms: yes or no?
Generally I fail at them, but I think I could do it and have fun with it given the right kind of character and... idk. I nearly posted in one recently but ended up not.

Ever rped a pairing?
A lot more than I would have liked, back in my rp dark ages. Shinji/Wolfwood was tons of angsty fun, though.

Favorite place to play: musebox, open posts, public games, private games?
Public games, but open posts can be a fuckton of funtiems sometimes, and I frequent dear_mun.

Talking rp with someone else who plays your character: fun or awkward?
I don't have a problem with it. So fun, I guess.

meme, fail
