That's brilliant. I always knew hell would be full of red tape and be a bureaucratic nightmare. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! The Red Tape Hell is indeed creepifying.

ZOMG (as Sir Humphrey would certainly never exclaim) a Being Human/Yes Minister crossover. And it is brilliant. I think I may love you.

Thank you! I have wanted to do this crossover ever since it became clear quite how obsessed with forms Annie's enemies are...

Awww, this is *brilliant* and the ending has left *such* a big smile on my face - all the more so for its contrast with the bleak body of the story :)

I feel almost slightly sorry for Them, doomed to play Jim without even the benefit of a Bernard...

I have some sympathy for Humphrey's view of ends & means, there's a quote from Camus' 'The Rebel' of which I'm very fond:
"Does the end justify the means? That is possible. But what will justify the end? To that question, which historic thought leaves pending, rebellion replies: the means."

Quite. They are seriously out of Their league.

I did not know that. It is very nice.

Thank you! I thought that you would find the idea of Sir Humphrey using his awesome powers of bureaucracy for Good rather appealing.
