long time
So thanksgiving break has been pretty good, though I myself don't celebrate because I'm not American, and I don't really agree with celebrating the last supper before the pilgrims slaughtered all of the Indians. It's been good though, because I get time off school, and I've gotten to see Shelley a lot. I'm already looking forward to next weekend when she comes down here. I'm also looking forward to when we get out of school and we head up to Savannah for a few days, should be a lot of fun. Then just a week after that we have Christmas!!!!!!!
Shelley and I went to dinner at the Olive Garden last night, and then went to PI. It was fun, but I could have done without the rain.
So the other day when I went to work, we were really fucking busy and short-staffed. I looked at the line up for the night and saw that this girl Claire was coming two hours late, so I was like "why the hell is Claire going to be so late?" Turns out the she was late because she was going to her best friends funeral who had died in Iraq. I saw her when she came in, because I was going on break and she was crying......sobbing. They sent her home soon after she came in. It's the first time that I had seen the affects of this dumb ass war first hand, I always new a lot of people were dying, but it made it feel more concrete.
