Couldn't resist

So, since about June, when we tell Bubla to eat "one, two, three" more spoonfuls (or "jedna, dva, tři," with tři sounding very similar to the English), he sometimes holds up TWO fingers on the FIRST of these three bites while exclaiming "teeeee" ("tyyy!"). Oh, the power of wishful thinking. Well, today, toward the end of his cereal bowl, he held up five fingers and counted: "two, two, tee!." Thus, we've added Bubla math to Bubla language, which really is starting to sound realistic (a bit like Klingon, but singificantly softer). I know this is what toddler jargon is by definition, but some of his "sentences" seem to have so much MEANING.

He also repeated his second two-word phrase (first one didn't stick, so we'll see if this one returns) last night: after he played the "want daddy to say goodnight, then push him away" game, I told him to call "táto, malá" (daddy, [I want to do] gentle). After a few rounds of the usual repetition of one of my two words, he actually said "táto, mayá" several times. And then, as always, hammed up the malá.
