I just finished an assignment, but I must say, as I am being tested on this tomorrow morning, I don't think remember anything I wrote down. Just err... all the rest of my weekend homework left to go. What's silly about this is that I haven't wasted time like any normal person this weekend, on friday (?) I checked out a book by Jared Diamond called "The Fall of the Third Chimpanzee" from the library, a book that could be summed up as our track to where we have gotten evolutionarily speaking and how we'll probably end up destroying the world soon. It's very much a book that might have been assigned as required reading in Dean's book back in '91 when it was published or for an evolution/biology class that I would never enroll in. Despite that, I have been using the majority of the time in which my mind has been clear enough and bored enough to get my homework completed on reading this book.
It's a very interesting book though, the first I've read of this kind. The second part, that I just got through today, dealt with human sexuality, ... made me blush a couple of times. What I had wanted when I went to the library though was Diamond's other book, "Guns, Germs, and Steel," I saw the documentary for it over the summer and it was extremely interesting, but sadly it looks like its too new to be at the library... or maybe it was checked out already, I don't remember. But nevertheless, this is kind of a refreshing read after having read only classics (Victor Hugo <3) for the past year and a half, and also because of my now not-so-recent-anymore desertion of christiandom for the damned pleasures of Left-wing-dom like democracy, liberal education, and the daily show with John Stewart. hehe.
Anyway, 7pm >.> I'll do my homework so I'm not still working on it into the AMs. Ciao
