good gosh, my landord is a prick.
i totally forgot about sending the rent off after we spoke on sunday. meant to tell dad to do it, but he left before i could. so i get a voicemail from the landlord this morning, and he's like 'i spoke to my bank and they haven't recieved your payment.. i don't need this hassle and would rather just RIP your chance of living in the flat out and giving it to someone else. someone professional. i mean, i don't want to get nasty and show you the other side of my nature but i just don't need this.'

jesus christ! you didn't give me a deadline and even if i had sent it on sunday as soon as we spoke, you wouldn't have it by now! stupid asshat.

and then when i called him about it and confirmed i'd put the money through, he's like 'yeeeah i've been having a rough day, i didn't mean to take it out on you'
i'm expecting thunderbolts and hella doom for when i REALLY piss him off.
i'm paying like £360 a month rent on this place. doesn't include bills. ripoff. and he doesn't even want to mount a fuckin mirror in there for me. and this 'old mexican diplomat gets star treatment at my expense' shit is gonna get really old. i pay rent like he does so i'll live normally, listen to my music like normal, talk to people in my room like normal and if i'm gettin shit for it because dude wants to sleep at 7pm, then fuck that. i'm moving out. there'll be plenty of room going soon so it's not a problem if i get a cheaper place with a better landlord. and the real stupid thing is, his wife is awesome! she's so nice and everything. proper good cop bad cop.
but hey, if i get this job i'll be able to pay my own way and kill all that time out of uni. sunshine and lollipops xx
