Who is regulating OPEC?
So. Apparently, due to the hurricane, gas prices are going to go up 20 cents by the end of this week.
Their excuse is that the hurricane damaged and shut down some offshore drilling sites in the gulf.
Oh, excuse me. I had no idea that domestic oil had that much of an impact. Oh wait. It doesn't.
Mr. Bush said (i paraphrase) "When the storm recedes, we will help our citizens in need. But, for now, we will pray."
Okay. We, as a nation, have been praying since 2000. Why don't we do something useful for a change?
By this point God has to be thinking: "Hey, George. Can't you keep my name out of your mouth for enough to have an original opinion of your own?" or perhaps: "You sure side with me a lot for a guy who sends thousands of people to their deaths in the desert."
or maybe: "George, this is the last straw. We're not friends. We never have been. We never will be. Leave me the fuck alone"
