New year. New show obession today.

Yay for the new year!
Well okay maybe not yay but more a meh at this point but... I donno.
Why meh? Well I've become my own pharmacist. Cough syrup, orange juice, chicken noodle soup, tea, vitamin C tablets..... I'm going to kick this damned cold, gorramit!
Why yay? I finally started watching the "Stargate Atlantis" season 1 DVDs I got from the library last weekend. I started watching them this afternoon and they are due back to the library before they open on Monday. I am up to episode 1x08 "Underground" and dude I've only watched the teaser so far on that one, but seriously I don't think that one guy is gonna be all that helpful. Stupid farmer guy. And is it just me or does Sheppard tend to get hurt and almost die alot?
I don't know how fandomy I might get for it but I do wanna watch them now. I know that gyoro and sunnyd_lite both like it but does anyone else here watch it. Have I found yet another show that's inevitably gonna drive me crazy? Oh and is there an links for that show that I should know about? Again I'm only at episode 1x08 but Rich, Sunny... Are there fic you all have written that I should check out that are for season 1? I see that once again the pairing that sparks my interest is not the popular fic pairing. So we won't even start in on how common that is for me.... Every show I tell ya, every time.
When I get done watching this season I'll have to try a get the next from the library. But that may take awhile. Usually when I find a new show like this to start watching those are the DVD seasons that are always checked out from the library. No matter if I usually saw those same seasons there all the time before.

Once I go through "Stargate Atlantis," I think I'm going to rewatch Buffy from the beginning. It's been so long since I've even watched an episode let alone gone and watched them all. I miss watching Buffy. Ahhh old school Willow and Xander and everything... *sighs* I can't wait to start rewatching them.
Okay so I've got a tag thing that bloodyrosered tagged me with to get posted. And I still need to get my list of fic wrote in 2008 posted to. Not that I wrote all that many but still. I'd do them right now except honestly it's kinda late and I wanna go watch a little bit more of "Stargate Atlantis" before I go to bed.
Hmmm I really hope someone out there is willing to listen to me babble about "Stargate Atlantis"...
I'll try to get caught up again on my flist this weekend and I'll tell you all about my New Year's Day too.
