Music assistance wanted...... HELP me please!

In light of getting Christian Kane's CD that's never been released this afternoon, I've decided to work on the CD mixes I want for our long weekend to Virginia for my cousin's wedding (Friday 9/25- Sunday 9/27).
We are driving out there. Straight through instead of staying at a hotel for the night halfway through like we used to, when we went out there to visit. It's like a 12 hour drive. One way! So I'm making some new mixes to bring along with all my Chris and Steve ones.
First being a SUMMER themed mix. Anything summery feeling. So far I've got some Kenny Chesney, Kane, Steve, and a couple stray songs.
Second being my PERFECT ROADTRIP mix. Partly inspired by that Writer's Block question awhile back and partially because it's for a long-ass Roadtrip. Anything I'd wanna hear while driving. Stuff to sing along too. That sort of thing. I got a few ideas for songs to go on this one but not nearly enough for a CD.
Third and final one being a TV themed mix. Songs from TV soundtracks or something that was on a TV show. Firefly theme & All Along The Watchtower (BSG) may go here.
So the question being... What would you put on a mix like one of these. What would you suggest for a Roadtrip mix or a Summery Mix?
I may put some Christian Kane and Steve Carlson on these mixes, but I kinda wanna keep that to a minimum. After all I am bring all their CDs that I own...
So suggestions?
Also, I have alot of different things music-wise but not everything. I may need help finding some tracks online if someone suggests something awesome that I don't have...
Please help me make these mixes awesome enough to help entertain me for at least 3 days.
