the beginning of the end
tonight we are set up to go to the hospital at 8pm to start my induction. which means by the very latest, we will be new parents tomorrow. =)
BUT.... this little one may have plans of her own. since about 5:30 this morning i've been feeling what can only be compared to period cramps off and on about every hour. and since i've never had a baby before and don't know *first hand* what contractions feel like, i have to assume they were/are them. since everything i've read and heard says they feel like glorified cramps. [warning- may be TMI coming] and THEN i went to the bathroom about an hour ago and there was some blood. i'm pretty sure it was my "show" or mucus plug, if you will. but the latter just sounds icky.
i called my dr and talked to her P.A. and she said it sounded pretty normal but that if my contractions start coming about every 10 min i should get to labor and delivery! ack! scary!
i'm going to be a real mommy soon. =)
