yeah the weekend is here in 24 hours!!! i can't wait...it's been a really fast week which is a good thing. we aren't doing much this weekend, but that's not always a bad thing. we were SUPPOSED to head to the beach friday afternoon through sunday afternoon but michael's younger sister babs is moving on sunday so we are going to stay around to help. which being in town, left us with no excuse not go to vanessa's surprise bday party. let me tell you about vanessa...she plays many roles in our life...she's our choir director at church...she is the wife of our friend...she is not my favorite person....she annoys the i don't know what out of michael and me...she is nosey...she is a pain in my butt...she and i have nothing in common....she's a bit too ditzy for me...she um isn't what i want to celebrate on saturday afternoon. needless to say, we are friends with her normal husband shane. he called us last week to tell us about this surprise party for her out at camp courtney (christian camp up here where our other friends are directors/care takers). we had an excuse not to go when we were going to the beach. now we have none. we could say we are still going to the beach...but saturday afternoon michael has his basketball game and shane is on team. so yeah, no way out of it. BUT we could say babs wants us to help her move on saturday too...THAT IS WHAT I TOLD MICHAEL...but he said "no shane asked us before babs did so we are obligated to the party on saturday and helping babs on sunday". what a load of blah! so yeah, that's what i'm doing on saturday at 4 pm. so anyway, now that i have ranted on about vanessa...she really isn't a bad girl, we just don't click and she's too possessive of her husband so we can't stand that. he isn't "allowed" to do stuff very often...WHATEVER!!!
anyway, i'm still excited about the weekend. even though we will be moving stuff on sunday i always like when we get together with all of michael's family. i'm thinking all 3 of his sisters will be there, their husbands, kids, michaels parents....yeah a lot of people.
