(no subject)
wow what a week! this week has been amazing. my friend alana flew in last friday and she was here until 3 today. we had so much fun and we weren't busy the entire time. she flew in friday night, saturday we just hung out and went shopping. sunday we went to church (yay i got her in church!!) and then went to chimney rock. monday i missed my foot doctor appointment b/c we were just hanging out around town and then i rescheduled it for 4 that afternoon and we went to it. tuesday we went skiing WITH MY FAMILY!!!!!!! YES my family came up to visit! they drove all day monday for 12 hours and got to maggie valley, nc monday evening. we met them tuesday morning and skied all day. they hadn't skied before so it was awesome. my mom didn't ski but that was okay. she plays tennis a lot and didn't want to get hurt!!! and she had a bit of a cold! then we went to waynesville, nc to go shopping and eat dinner. well dinner was good BUT my grilled flounder came out fried and my potatoes came out mashed with can gravy on them. but that's okay i guess..it was really good. i just wouldn't have chosen it b/c of the whole weight watchers diet i'm on. BY THE WAY...I WEIGHED IN THIS MORNING AND I'M UP TO 34.0 POUNDS FOR MY WEIGHT LOSS TOTAL!!! PRETTY GOOD HUH?!?! I THINK SO TOO! I LOST 1.4 IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS...THE LOSS IS SLOWING UP BUT AS LONG AS I KEEP LOSING I'M HAPPY! 16.6 POUNDS TO GO TO REACH MY GOAL! I'M .6 POUNDS BEHIND TO REACH MY GOAL BY JUNE 2 IF I DO IT A POUND A WEEK BUT THAT'S OKAY...I'LL CATCH UP! I SLACKED UP A WEEK AGO! anyway, continue with my week. after dinner we raced back to hendersonville (literally felt like i was in a race car!) and went to my two volleyball games. we had a double header opening night of the season. one game at 815, next at 9. not only a double header, but late ones! well we won all 6 games so that was really exciting! we are undefeated and number 1 so far! we play all 3 games even if you win the first 2 b/c total games won is what counts in our league. afterwards we all went home and crashed. i had an awful headache. my sister and brother came back to our house with me (along with alana) and they spent the night. the next morning my parents came around 1030 (only 1.5 hours late!!! LOL). they said they love my house, the location, everything about it! so that was really nice! my mom actually cried when they left. and that made me want to cry. we decided that they are going to fly us in over easter weekend so that we can come visit. that's a really nice thing b/c i didn't know when we would be back down in LA again and we couldn't drive down then b/c michael can't get off work. so with them flying us we get to go in, not pay for it, and not take off work! YIPPEE!
so they left and then alana and went to town for lunch. after lunch i had a dentist appointment. i don't know if anyone has heard of the rembrandt treatment or ZOOM but it's a teeth whitening treatment for $500 bucks and you have white teeth after being under the UV light for 45 minutes. well i did it yesterday and WHOA MY TEETH ARE SO WHITE! pearly whites!! they hurt for the next 18 hours but they are fine now! then we had dinner, went to michael's sisters house, then crashed at home. this morning (thursday) we went to weight watchers for me to weigh in and then to lunch with my brother in law. it was my turn to pay! we trade off every week b/c neither of us work on thursday or friday mornings. but i do now so our lunch date is cancelled as of next week :(
then i had to take alana to the airport for 2 pm and i went to pick up my boy and now i'm working. i have to work all day tomorrow but i guess working 1 1/2 days this week is not so bad! next week will be back to normal i guess!
well i guess i will get off of here, take my boy home, and go meet michael at home for a weight watchers meal and some "tricia and michael" tv time watching the apprentice! I LOVE MY HUSBAND!! i haven't said much about him lately, but he is so wonderful. i am so happy being married to him!
