(no subject)
I guess it has been awhile since I've updated...here's a quick one....
Thursday Michael and i headed to whitmire, sc to his dad's hunting cabin. i worked on my creative memories scrapbook and managed to get through our wedding. now i just have to do all of maui, our luau, and whatever else i want to put in from this last year. friday i went up to greenville, sc and spent the day with one of michael's sister's donna. we went to the mall, cleaned babs (one of his other sisters) house while she was working, and just hung out. it was really nice...donna lives in burnsville nc so i don't get to see her as often as i do babs and his other sister cheryl. i had never hung out with her just one on one so it was really nice. she is closer to God than Babs and Cheryl so it was nice to be able to talk to God with her. she has an awesome family too...husband Randy and daughters Taylor and Alexis. Alexis was with us, but she played with Babs daughter Kristan the whole time. Friday night I headed back to Whitmire to ring in the New Years with Michael....well we didn't even make it to 11 pm...I know we're old fogies!!! Saturday I did a bunch of paperwork while Michael and his dad hunted ALL DAY. saturday night we came home. sunday morning we went to sunday school and church. then michael cleaned his truck through and through and i spent 4 hours undecorating our tree and the house. it is now all in the attic waiting to be used this coming Christmas. sunday evening we went to church, then to walmart to get paper towels and garbage bags. then we went home and watched tv...pretty relaxing break i've had.
we head to wilmington this friday afternoon...something nice to look forward to while i work this week....
paul and i are going to get some lunch now!
