don't touch me....
i'm pretty sure "don't touch me" was the theme of this weekend. let me explain.
friday night i went to six flags to finalize everything with joel. we walked around the park and he showed me my section and what i was going to be doing. i watched the r&b show (which is fab and you all must come see it). then jason and i went to ihop and then i went home.
saturday morning was my first day. i'm supposed to be like a 1950's bad girl. but they want me to wear jean capris and a pink sweater. this is problematic because thats actually in style now. so everyone in the park has no idea i'm in costume. i hang out in front of deejay's diner (which is closed) and i hulla hoop with audrey. we get all kinds of kids and adults to come over and it's a good time had by all. however. right before we went out for the parade a couple of people from the country show tell audrey and me that we're sunburned. SHIT! so we keep walking around in the blistering sun getting even crispier. fun. jason and i leave and go back to his place. we eat and we watch waiting.. which is fabulous as well.
sunday morning i'm so sun burned that it hurts to take a shower. i leave for work. still sunburned. i work. still sunburned. and i'm getting more sunburned everytime i go outside. my legs feel like jello and i'm pinker then the sweater i'm wearing. shit.
oscar party last night. i was doing so well. but i didn't win. damn the man! people kept walking up to me and saying, "oh my god evans. that sunburn looks really painfull." and then they freaking touch it! don't touch me! i did however get really fucking drunk and pass out in the middle of the floor. tim and other person who i don't recall wakes me up and tells me to go to the bed. i say don't touch me and then they do and i have to throw up. great.
woke up this morning. drove home. took a very very painful shower and went back to bed. bought aloe and sunblock. hoping that this will help. in ballyhoo rehearsal now. having fun.
OH! and gavin works at six flags too! i haven't seen him since high school. he plays robin. cute!
