Who Knew?

Hey All,
Sorry I havn't written in awhile. Been a little busy, you know, trying to recover from surgery, finish up work here, do DR's, stuff like that. Not to worry, I am recovering fine. I still can't do fun stuff like run, walk very fast or far, swim or lift anything heaver than a plate. But other than that, things are great. After staying in the Donga's with the interns, Tom and Margie for about a week or so, I have moved back into my cabin. That was hard, let me tell you. Not just because I live at the top of a really steep hill that is just a bit difficult to walk up when you just had surgery, but because, well, they're all so cool. I've always known that I get along better with people who are a little older than me, but now I know its true. Spending a week with them was nice break from all the drama that sometimes happens here at the Centre that is impossible to escape from. Plus, I got to see how the interns and stuff really act. Let me just say that these three mid 20 somethings people are pretty damn cool, and super super nice. Margie, Tom's girlfriend, is also the coolest person ever. She took care of me, plus is very very smart, so I got to pick her plant brain. Other highlights of living in the Donga's include 1)Having my own room, with a double bed 2)Not having to walk more than 10 feet for the bathroom or food 3)Australian television 4)Watching 5 people with college educations and masters degrees try to outsmart various rodents that also live in the Donga's, and possibly the best reason, in my opinion, having Paul make me breakfast in the morning. My close friends here know about my rather pathetic crush on Paul, one of the interns here. Of course its pointless to have a crush on him because, well, he's an intern, and its strictly not allowed (the whole intern student thing). Which is for the best I suppose. But I can still call him my friend, and secretly moon over running my fingers through his gorgeous, curly red hair. Ahh, this has got to stop! HeHe.
This past few weeks have been interesting to say the least. I can totally sympathize wiht my friends Balli and Ann now-I totally understand how much it utterly sucks to be sick and in the hospital. The most annoying part, having random people poke at your body all the time, usually without ever introducing themselves. I am so tired of having to take my pants off for random medical people. Seriously.
Anyway, due to my recent fun medical problems, I have decided not to travel afterwards, but instead am coming home afterwards like originally planned. I would love to travel, but since I can't really do much anyway, I decided to just come home and rest. Bummer, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. Ok, I seriously have to go and do real work now. Later peeps.
