So yeah...an update.

Where to begin...

Life has been incredibly busy, yet at the same time it feels very much like nothing has changed. I've just been so swamped with long hours at work, lack of time to relax at home, and so on. We're finally getting new kitchen cabinets on Monday, along with a new screen door and some tiles in the kitchen replaced. Depending on what they do there, I may find out if we can replace the whole thing...but as it's an apartment, I don't really fully see the point. I want to eventually move into a house that we own, and I guess that'd be the time to tile the kitchen the way I see fit. I keep forgetting to find out about storage units and stuff...my brain has been on overdrive, and things are slipping as gears slip. Grr.

Got the headlight switch replaced this morning...got to my mom/dad/brother's at 7:15 am, no one was awake, and so I snuck in and crashed out on the couch for an hour. Twas nice. At least morathi has a ride home from work today, I don't have to drive back down to Branchburg to pick her up.

We'd been talking for the past week about going to a baseball game on Sunday, but I have no idea if that's actually going to happen.

Recently got a bunch of new Doctor Who DVDs...Inferno, The Web Planet, and Tomb of the Cybermen. Been fun to watch. Still haven't picked up the new release of the Japanese 1954 Godzilla movie, complete and unedited...it's only $15.00, but it's not been something I can pick up right now. Maybe next week, who knows? We have the Porcupine Tree show coming up in a month (October 7, to be precise), and I have no idea if any other shows are in the offing. Perhaps, but we'll have to see. It'll be contingent on what our new lease looks like (this one expires at the end of November).

Otherwise...tired, achy, worn out, emotionally fatigued. Right hip is really flaring up from the chill and humidity. I just want to crawl in the HT room at work and crash out on the couch for a bit...
