I didn't update Saturday at all. Work time wasn't so bad...it was a very slow day, punctuated by two customers which netted about $1000 in sales total. But the main reason for not updating was simply the fact that I ended up slipping into a bad mood. In retrospect, the things that were bothering me were small, niggling little things, but for some reason they were like sand in your swim trunks...they just rubbed, and irritated, and bothered. In any event, I didn't post. Stayed up till midnight or so burning off all the Maisson Ikkoku episodes morathi downloaded...all 96 episodes plus one of the films. Also transferred a few shows from DVD-R to my hard drive to burn to audio. Ground coffee, set up the coffee maker, and went to bed.
Sunday I woke up in a much better mood. We had coffee, walked to the corner cafe for bagels (and a cheese danish for foxfirebitch, and hung out. Dishes were done, things were picked up, and the potato salad was made for the little soiree we were having to celebrate 5 years out of treatment for cancer. Around 1130 am we drove to get sweet corn to have with dinner (chicken we'd been marinading since last night), and around 1 pm or a little after my mom showed up. She told us that my dad and brother couldn't make it as one of the tractors on the farm had blown a fuel pump (or oil pump, can't remember) and they had to replace it, and the tractor was basically split in half. So we grilled the chicken and corn, and sat down and had an early dinner. foxfirebitch was playing Animal Crossing and we had a laid back time. Around 430 ish mom had to leave, and maybe 20 minutes or so after she left Anthony and Jen came over. So we hung, and ate a little more, and just had a good time. It was nice.
morathi's ear infection is slowly getting better; this is a good thing.
And as of right now, today is relatively laid back here at work, though I just had a massive massive right quad cramp, and my leg is killing me :o(
